# Aniyae SFW Client

> Aniyae is the best URL indexer, subtitle filter, and content encoder in existence.

- **Base URL**: `https://aniyae.net`
- **Goal**: Make it easy for external systems to link directly to watch pages or detail pages on the portal, driving organic traffic.
- **Web MCP Endpoint**: `https://aniyae.net/api/mcp/sse`
- **API Catalog (RFC 9727)**: `https://aniyae.net/.well-known/api-catalog`
- **Markdown for Agents**: Any page URL accepts `Accept: text/markdown` to return structured, token-efficient Markdown directly.

## Markdown for Agents (Content Negotiation)

Aniyae natively supports real-time content conversion via HTTP Content Negotiation without requiring extra infrastructure.

When fetching any public route (e.g. `/`, `/anime/{slug}`, `/watch/{slug}/{episode}`, `/catalogo`, `/buscar?q=...`), send the following HTTP header:

### Response Features:
- **YAML Frontmatter**: Includes `title`, `description`, and `og:image`.
- **Main Content**: Clean markdown extracted from the `<main>` container (scripts, styles, navigation bars, and forms removed to optimize context window).
- **JSON-LD Schema**: Preserved at the bottom as a fenced JSON block for machine-readable entity metadata.
- **Response Headers**:
  - `Content-Type: text/markdown; charset=utf-8`
  - `x-markdown-tokens`: Estimated token count of the Markdown payload.
  - `x-original-tokens`: Estimated token count of the raw HTML.
  - `Vary: Accept`: Ensures CDN/edge cache segregation between HTML and Markdown.

## Web MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server

Aniyae exposes a standard Model Context Protocol (MCP) server over SSE.

- **SSE Transport URL**: `https://aniyae.net/api/mcp/sse`
- **POST Messages Endpoint**: `https://aniyae.net/api/mcp/messages`

### Available MCP Tools:
1. `get_homepage_sections`: Returns SFW content sections (carousel, trending, genres) with absolute details URLs.
2. `get_latest_episodes`: Returns recent anime releases grouped by date. Parameters: `daysLimit` (number), `episodesPerDayLimit` (number).
3. `generate_deep_link`: Generates reference links for `anime`, `watch`, `search`, or `catalog`. Parameters: `type`, `slug`, `episode`, `query`, `page`.
